MOD® Reverb Tanks

Mod Reverb Tanks were carefully designed and researched to bring the warmth of a vintage sounding reverb to your amp.

What people are saying about MOD® Reverb Tanks:

"Longest decay rate of the three, very broad tone and is best suited for those who desire a long decay, ambient sounding reverb. Almost sounds like a large room. Lots of bottom end. Lots of hang time/dwell."

Hey Alex! The Deluxe Reverb's have the 4AB3C1B. Some people like using the 9AB3C1B for a bigger sounding reverb too.

The easiest way to identify the tank you need would be to check the original tank for the reverb code on the outside of the metal enclosure ie 8DB2C1B. If you no longer have the original you may want to search for a schematic or reach out to the manufacturer to see if they can help you identify it.

Can I upgrade a type 1 tank (1AB) to a type 8 tank (8AB). I see the impedances are slightly different.

Typically when the 2nd and 3rd digits match the tanks can be interchanged. You'll want to verify that the size and mounting style will work for you as well.
