Is this an auto-wah?

No, while the tone response of an auto-wah changes based on the input signal, the Tea Philter’s tone stays in one place. It is similar to setting a wah pedal to a tone setting you like, and leaving the pedal there.

Is this pedal true-bypass when disengaged? How is it for bass guitar?

Yes it is true bypass. The filter is set up for guitar so I would not recommend it for bass.

can it use a 9v adapter?

You can use a 9v adapter or a battery with the Tea Philter.

Do you have a mod schematic for adding a volume pot to this pedal?
